This agreement is between Nexis ("we") and the Client ("you") for the design, build, and care of the website described below.
The work. A custom website built to your brand: your project — including copy placement, photo production, a contact form, and local search setup. The site you have already previewed is the deliverable.
Payment. A one-time build deposit of $, due on signing. Then a care plan of $/month for 12 months, then $99/month ongoing — hosting, security, software updates, the contact form, and content changes whenever you need them. Your domain name is billed at cost (about $12/year).
Going live. The site launches under your own domain once the deposit is received.
Ownership. Your content — photos, wording, brand — is always yours. On completion of the 12-month care term, full ownership of the website transfers to you. Until then, Nexis hosts and maintains it as a managed service.
Cancelling. After the 12-month term, either of us can end the care plan with 30 days' written notice. If payments stop mid-term, hosting may be paused until the account is current.
Changes. Content updates are included in the care plan. New features or pages beyond the original scope are quoted separately before any work begins.
